Are you passionate about education and creating a meaningful environment in which children can learn and grow? We are hiring Teachers to join our fantastic Global Children Service team! We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic natural-born leader, who loves working with children. The successful candidate will be responsible for the children’s academic, emotional, and social development and growth. They will be able to plan, coordinate, and implement the curriculum, develop meaningful connections with parents, and inspire the next generation.
As a Teacher, your responsibilities and duties include (but are not limited to):
Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in the classrooms.
Provide basic needs for children.
Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the interests and learning styles of different children.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
Maintain a professional self-image at all times.
Requirements:
Ability to develop activities that are fun and educational for young children
Ability to instruct young children in rules of conduct and learning new tasks
Ability to select the appropriate teaching method and adapt to children's learning styles
Ability to effectively communicate with students & parents Patience and compassion for the young children in our care
Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to the various needs of children and parents
Pass a Background Check
CPR & First Aid certified
Complete a tuberculosis test and physical and provide physician documentation of both
Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual and have minimal absences
Have an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities
Can kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70lbs
Are available for full-time employment
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 4 years work experience or Child Development Associate (CDA)/Child care Certificate and 2 years work experience.
We are looking for Full-Time Teachers at our Uptown Campus
Assistant teachers are to ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs as well as their education. They must utilize developmentally appropriate practices and best practice methods at all times.
Assistant teachers must be warm and nurturing with children and be positive role models for all caregiving staff & children while being customer service orientated and professional.
Requirements:
Must be above 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent education
Have at least 1 year of experience working with children
Pass a Background
Be CPR & 1st aid certified
Complete a tuberculosis test and physical and provide physician documentation of both
Possesses a strong work ethic, is punctual, and has minimal absences
Have an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities
Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70lbs
Be available for full-time employment and available to work as late as 6 pm
Have a dependable transportation
Duties and responsibilities:
Engage children in activities and play that stimulate their development
Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times
Assist children with activities of daily life
Approach parents daily and speak with them about the child(ren)
Help facilitate daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for preschool
Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean organized and safe for all children
Attend and engage in occasional parent participation events and other events that may be on nights and or weekends
Assist with the completion of daily sheets and daily activities about eating, sleeping, and diaper change
Communicate with the lead teacher regarding all aspects of the children's care as well as classroom management
Maintain a professional self-image at all times
