About Global Children Services in Whitehaven
We are a Creative Curriculum based preschool, located at Martin Edwards Place, Memphis. We care for children from 6 weeks to 16 years old, and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join school.
From Summer Camps and ACT Boot Camps, to American Sign Language and daily after-school care, we are dedicated to supporting children and their families to thrive inside and outside of the classroom.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy and mission are simple: “learning by doing”. We use a Creative Curriculum Philosophy to encompass this message, blending indoor and outdoor classrooms in a home-away-from-home environment, and creating a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.
Each child will be empowered to take charge of their own learning and receive support from educators who are dedicated to empowering them to explore their innate curiosities and strengths every day!
Who We Are
Global Children Services was established in 2016 to meet the needs for quality childcare.
We believe that our innovative and empowering approach to childcare gives children a positive start to life inside and outside of the classroom. By encouraging them to explore and discover the wonders of the world around them, our team aims to nurture emotional intelligence, help forge friendships, and nurture each child’s unique strengths and skills.

Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs, including daycare for infants and toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten. We also offer daily after-school care, holiday care, and ACT examination preparation for children aged 6 weeks to 16 years old.
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our center.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly and thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.
What to Expect from the Global Children Services Team
All of our teachers hold a credential in Early Childhood Education. Several have gone further in school and received advanced degrees. We have established an intensive training program in place for our teachers to stay ahead of the new teaching strategies in early childhood education.
All our teachers are required to go through 30 hours of continuing education in Early Childhood Development. In addition to this, as a condition of employment, they’re required to have the following:
Local criminal history background check
F.B.I fingerprinting background check
C.P.R and first aid certification
